Full-Time
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: General warehouse duties such as load and unload trucks with use of material handling equipment, receive incoming merchandise, verify stock quantities and sizes, price merchandise according to invoice, print price tags and label merchandise. Store and retrieve merchandise in rack locations, load merchandise into crates for transfer. Develops receiving documents and enters information into computerized inventory system, answer inquiries and resolves related problems.
The ideal candidate will be organized with attention to detail, experienced in use of computer and data entry, have previous shipping and receiving experience, ability to operate material handling equipment such as two-wheel cart, pallet jack, rolling book cart and conveyor, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and 50 pounds intermittently.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Load and unload truck with use of material handling equipment as needed, delivery and pickup at all University Book Store locations as well as parcels at other locations within the area, obey and follow all traffic laws, arrives to all locations on schedule. Additional responsibilities include assist with on-line orders, picking, packing, and shipping. Previous truck driving experience desirable. Requires a valid WI driver's license and a good driving record. The ideal candidate will be reliable and dependable with excellent time management, organizational and communications skills, can operate material handling equipment such as two-wheel cart, pallet jack, rolling book cart and conveyor, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and 50 pounds intermittently.
Manage floor presentation and operations. Adhere to employee relation policies, coach, and discipline staff. Oversee sales of Wisconsin Badger clothing and gifts. Provide information and promote sales regarding services, clothing, and gift items. Provide exceptional customer service. Responsible for opening and closing procedures, cash handling, sale transactions, product display, inventory control and employee scheduling. Supervisory and retail experience a plus.
Part-Time
Provides exceptional customer service, operates a cash register, and provides information and promotes sales regarding art supplies, pen sales, supplies, consumer electronics and in-store services. Operates cash register. Position immediately available.
